| Stephan
Gruben has been the President and Director of
Production at LinguaGraphics since the
company's founding in 2002. Prior to that, he
was Publishing Manager at Bowne Global Solutions
(previously Berlitz GlobalNET), and Director
of Graphic Services at Planet Leap (previously
YAR Communications). In these positions, he managed
all aspects of a two–shift, 40–station multilingual
Mac and PC production studio, where hundreds
of creative and localization jobs in over 100
languages were handled each day. He devised production
strategies for 1–million–plus word projects for
clients that include Apple, Adobe Systems, Nike,
AT&T, LL Bean, Medtronic, EDS, Hewlett Packard,
Compuware, American Airlines, Charles Schwab,
Western Union, CNN, Cartoon Network, and Disney.
Before entering the field of localization, Stephan
held the position of Creative Director & Production
Manager at Burda Media in New York City from
1991 through 1996, where he managed production
in a fast–paced environment with stringent deadlines,
while also researching developments in magazine
publishing, electronic media and the Internet.
Stephan's experience also includes traveling
the world as a photojournalist. He speaks six
languages. |

Carter
Chen
Director of Production,
Tools and Engineering |

| Before
joining LinguaGraphics, Carter Chen was
the Desktop Publishing Lead at LionBridge in
New York, where he managed high profile, contract
clients, such as Adobe, McDonalds, Xerox and
Philips. Prior to that, in his capacity as Desktop
Publishing Client Lead, Carter successfully managed
and grew multi–million dollar accounts at Berlitz
GlobalNET and at Bowne Global Solutions. Carter's
expertise in tools like Trados, S–Tagger, StoryCollector,
and CopyFlow has enabled him to devise
advanced CAT–Specific production strategies,
which he has taught and formulated in various
Desktop Publishing workshops since 2000. Carter
has lived in Asia and Europe and speaks three
dialects of Chinese (Cantonese, Mandarin, and
Hakka). Carter holds a BA in Graphic Design and
a minor in Computer Science from Binghamton University
(SUNY). |

Eddie Ordubegian
West Coast Bureau Chief |

| Prior
to joining us in 2003, Eddie Ordubegian managed
Bowne Global Solutions' fast–paced Online Publishing
Departments in New York City and Santa Monica,
CA. His career in localization started at Berlitz
GlobalNet where he led a production team specializing
in Global Branding and Marketing Material. His
responsibilities included analysis and process
definition, as well as hands–on production and
QA for Interactive and high visibility projects.
With a vast background in Flash localization,
Eddie provides expert knowledge and leadership
in a medium that is fast becoming an industry
standard. His skill–sets have provided many of
our clients with a competitive advantage that
has helped them grow prestigious accounts. Eddie
holds a B.A. in Communications, with an emphasis
in animation, from Loyola Marymount University
in Los Angeles. |

Fabián Chol

Before joining forces with LinguaGraphics in 2008, Fabián Chol was the Managing Partner of Digiworkers, a provider of multilingual DTP and localization services, located in Argentina. For 10 years he was instrumental in developing relationships with international clients such as Adobe, AT&T, Canon, GE, Hewlett-Packard, Lockheed Martin, MasterCard, Verizon, and Xerox. His expert production, management, and quality assurance skills were sought out by some of the most prominent language service providers, such as thebigword in the UK, Locatech in Germany, and Lionbridge offices worldwide. Fabián has wide-ranging experience working with online and printed documentation, Web localization, e-Learning courses, Flash, voice over, and advertising brochures in more than 35 languages. He has a Masters degree in Electromechanical Engineering from the Escuela Industrial Superior, Universidad Nacional del Litoral in Santa Fé, Argentina, and has worked in visual communication, broadcasting, design, and systems engineering.

Leah Ruggiero
Director, Business Development |

Leah Ruggiero brings to her role as Director of Business Development a broad range of experience, from project management, lecturing, and teaching, to translation and editing. Leah started her language industry career at Eriksen Translations in Brooklyn, New York, working with both clients and vendors. As a Senior Project Manager at Eriksen, she gained expertise in working with New York government agencies, top-ranking law firms, and arts organizations. In this pivotal position she ensured the quality and success of her clients’ projects and developed long-lasting, forward-thinking relationships with companies such as NYC Human Resources Administration, Prudential Financial, and Showtime Networks. In 2002, she designed and taught NYU’s debut course on project management for the language industry. She has also presented several lectures at annual ATA conferences around the country, including a popular lecture The Translation Company Unveiled. Leah has lived in France and speaks French. She holds a B.A. in French from the University of Minnesota and a Certificate in Translation from New York University.

Victor
Sorokin

| Victor
Sorokin brings to LinguaGraphics over
10 years of experience in Network Engineering
and Security, System Administration, and Multilingual
Desktop Publishing Technology. Before joining
our team in 2006, Victor held positions of Network
Engineer/Administration at various global organizations,
including KMOC/Marathon Oil, Invisible Hand Network,
and the second–largest Japanese financial services
conglomerate. He has implemented VoIP solutions,
deployed and maintained carrier–class routers,
and has built and configured high–end client
computers with multiboot environments for multilingual
DTP/software localization. From 1997 through
2000 Victor worked as a Desktop Publishing Technology
Specialist at Berlitz GlobalNet and TransPerfect
Translations, where he served as multi–byte (Japanese,
Korean, Chinese) and non–standard–encoding text
processing and FrameMaker expert. Victor
holds a Master of Science in Physics from Moscow
Engineering Physics Institute, has obtained numerous
certifications from Cisco Systems, and passed
the JLPT Level 3. He speaks Russian and Japanese,
and recently began studying Arabic. |
